Description
In “El libro the piedra”, Julia Septién a sophisticated governess, is hired by a wealthy man named Eugenio Ruvalcaba, to take care of his little daughter, Silvia. The little girl’s bad reputation doesn’t seem to worry the advocated governess very much. She chooses to ignore all the admonitions and stays with the family to take care of young Silvia’s education. In contrast with the governess, Mariana, the little girl’s stepmother appears to be afraid of the child and keeps her distance. This antagonistic relationship grows bigger day after day and Silvia’s connection with her family ends up basically reduced to pathetic efforts that only prove how serious the circumstances are. What seems to be childishness at first turns out to be more severe than Julia had supposed and regardless of her endurance, she starts to realize that Silvia is not exactly a normal girl. Her obsession with that weird looking statue of a boy named Hugo, is simply the beginning of a frightening experience that will simply make everyone go away for good, if that’s what little Silvia wishes.IMDB
A big, big thanks to the creator of the subtitles for this one.
