Torture, dismemberment, mad doctors, pretty girls in chains, pretty girls in mini-skirts, doofy hunchbacks, clueless peace officers, deranged child-women, madmen in cages, crummy laboratories, gratuitous violence, cheesy gore, highly illogical plot and shocking music. These are the reasons we used to love to go to the drive-in, and this queer little movie has all of these elements, and more. It's surprisingly well-scrubbed, for a no-budget wonder. It has a seriously doofy villain, and a heroine who ain't much better. But best of all, the "monster" is one of those great rip-offs we hated at the time, and think fondly of today; merely red ribbons wavin' in the breeze, which supposedly represent the disembodied spirit of "evil".

Everyone rates in different ways and what maybe an 8 to me might be a 6 or 9 to you so please bear in mind that they are there as a rough guide only.
A rating of 8.5 will normally be direct from a VHS master or equivalent
9 upwards will be from good quality TV broadcasts, screeners etc.
8 and below will be from 2nd or even 3rd generation prints from all types of master.
Fullscreen & widescreen titles are marked with a W or F or some 16:9 or 4:3
